Performance
The 2025 Jeep® Wrangler offers three primary powertrain options to suit a wide range of driving needs. The standard 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 delivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and is available with either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic paired with the eTorque mild-hybrid system, which enhances fuel efficiency and stop/start performance. For those seeking a more responsive low-end torque curve, the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine provides 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, paired exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
At the top of the range, the Rubicon 392 Final Edition features a powerful 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 that produces 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, also mated to an eight-speed automatic. This setup delivers incredible performance both on and off the trail and is exclusive to four-door models.
Most versions of this new Jeep SUV come standard with a part-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system with low-range gearing. Full-time 4WD is available for select trims. There are three such 4WD systems to consider, one of which – Rock-Trac® – offers a class-leading 100:1 crawl ratio for the times when the going gets tough.
Infotainment
The Jeep Wrangler model’s Uconnect® infotainment system was upgraded last year, making the 2025 model the most technologically advanced Jeep Wrangler ever built. Gone are the 7.4-inch and 8-inch screens of the previous generation. In their place is the largest-in-class 12.3-inch Uconnect® touchscreen.
