The Wagoneer is offered in two distinct configurations – the Series II and the Series III. Both feature luxurious Nappa leather seating with heated and ventilated front passenger seats and your choice of a second-row bench seat or captain's chairs. The Wagoneer Series II is offered in a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain and comes standard with a powerful V8 engine that provides enough power to tow up to 10,000 pounds. Inside the cabin, everyone will enjoy the 4G LTE Wi-Fi HotSpot and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity for easy entertainment streaming. The included 9-speaker premium Alpine audio system provides an immersive concert grade listening experience, and the tri-zone automatic climate control means everyone in all three rows can dial in their preferred temperature. The Wagoneer Series III is the ultimate expression of premium luxury both inside and out. The exterior features available power deployable running boards for easy entry and exit, along with unique 20-inch wheels. The Series III is also available in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive versions.
Inside the cabin, buyers will find a multitude of additional comfort and convenience features, including a power fold/recline third-row seat and an optional innovative locking in-vehicle safe within the center console. Touchscreens abound, beginning with the 12-inch main infotainment screen that runs on the lightning-fast Uconnect operating system. Just below is a 10.3-inch screen that’s dedicated to the cabin’s HVAC system, allowing drivers to easily dial in climate preferences.
Passengers aren’t left out of the technology extras, either. The front passenger receives a dedicated dash-mounted 10.3-inch screen where they can monitor navigation, control the audio, or connect their smartphone via a wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto connection. People were excited when the all-new, completely redesigned 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L recently hit the scene. After all, it’s been over a decade since Jeep performed a rehaul on its flagship SUV. We think it’s a testament to the Grand Cherokee’s lasting appeal, especially since most automakers pull the trigger on a redesign closer to every five years.
So, why did Jeep mess with a top-selling design? In doing so, the company upgraded the Grand Cherokee with the latest tech features, including massive touchscreens and plentiful semi-autonomous driver-assist systems. Here’s another big – and we mean big – reason Jeep sent the Grand Cherokee in for a redesign: to get more passenger seating. A big beef among GC buyers was the lack of a third row of seats.
