The 2022 Ford Explorer comes in fresh with a new trim in the form of the Explorer ST-Line series. Ford also updated the Explorer's base ST trim with a new rear-wheel drive option for performance enthusiasts and upped the standard powertrain equipment for the King Ranch and Platinum models to house the 3.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged V6.
