With new features for the 2023 model year, the Wagoneer continues to carve out its own path in the full-size segment with much-desired improvements and updates to keep it highly desirable among discerning shoppers.

New for 2023 are a few noteworthy updates that change the way the Wagoneer presents itself on the market. This includes an all-new twin-turbo inline-six engine for increased power and fuel economy. The available Carbide Package has also been updated to offer new 20-inch wheels as a standard feature, with optional 22-inch wheels for an even more standout style. Two Powerful Engines

There are two distinct powertrains available for the 2023 Wagoneer: an all-new 3.0-liter twin-turbo Hurricane I-6 and a 5.7-liter HEMI V8. Both engines provide you with a distinct sense of power and control on the road, all while maximizing efficiency for the best handling possible. The 3.0-liter Hurricane delivers 420 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, making it a choice pick among those who want a full-size SUV with plenty of gusto and responsive acceleration. With the eight-speed electronic TorqueFlite automatic transmission and start/stop technology in the Hurricane, you get fuel-saving features for frequent stop-and-go travel.

The second powertrain, the 5.7-liter HEMI V8, delivers 392 hp and 404 lb-ft of torque. It's a powerful option for those who want to feel the rumble of a V8 while also still having access to plenty of off-the-line performance and steady top-end speeds for a full-size SUV. Both engines can be configured as rear-wheel or four-wheel drive for those who want the option of either more power to the wheels or improved stability and traction.

    Designed for Adventure

The 2023 Wagoneer comes with the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, so if you opt to take your Wagoneer off the beaten path, you can do so with confidence. Added to this, the Wagoneer is designed to rock crawl and hill climb, with a crawl ratio of 48:1 from its two-speed transfer case. Available Quadra-Lift air suspension means you can dynamically adjust ride height based on road conditions and terrain, with a maximum ground clearance of 10 inches.

The body-on-frame design also contributes to the vehicle's excellent handling and off-road performance, along with electronically controlled suspension stability. This also works in conjunction with the vehicle's towing capabilities, which affords Wagoneer drivers up to 10,000 lbs worth of towing capacity. This is quite the feat given that the Wagoneer takes pride in being a highly stylish full-size SUV, but it's also a very utilitarian SUV.

  • Style / Comfort

    The Picture of Refinement

Expecting a great deal of comfort and style from the Wagoneer is expected, but some people may not know just how much comfort this full-size SUV provides. Thanks to riding on a 123-inch wheelbase, the Wagoneer has a very stable foundation. Even though there are a lot of performance features to ensure the Wagoneer handles smoothly on the road (and off the road), none of that detracts from the unique design language that helps the SUV stand out from the competition. The bold stance and chrome lining around the fascia and pillars of the exterior exude refinement.

With an LED lighting array that features LED headlamps, fog lamps, and taillights, you have the highest quality lighting setup to help you navigate regardless of the weather or lighting conditions. The auto-high beams and power-folding side mirrors also add lots of functionality to the Wagoneer without detracting from its stylistic panache. The interior styling is just as elegant as the confident yet contemporary lines of the exterior. A tri-pane panoramic sunroof with a power sunshade for the first two rows is available across the trims.

    Incredible Comfort

Incredibly comfortable 12-way power driver and front passenger seats come standard across every 2023 Wagoneer trim. Not only that, but the front seats feature lumbar support and driver memory settings, so you can personalize the way the Wagoneer rides every time you sit down in the driver seat. Every trim also comes with perforated leather-trimmed seats. However, moving up the trims, you have access to Nappa leather-trimmed seats with smoother Nappa leather bolsters. Finally, the Series III boasts a premium perforated Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery for the ultimate comfort.

Heated and ventilated seats are also standard on the front row, with optional heated second-row seats, which is great for keeping everyone cozy across multiple rows, especially if you head into the mountains for a ski trip. The tri-zone automatic climate control ensures everyone stays comfortable at all times. A power tilt and telescoping steering column is also a standard feature across every Wagoneer, along with a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. All of the Wagoneer trims come with steering-wheel-mounted media and infotainment controls, making it easy to access what you need without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

  • Convenience / Technology

    Making Driving Convenient

The 2023 Wagoneer makes driving so much more convenient thanks to its spacious interior and tech-rich features. With a full-length floor console in the front, two cup holders, and two-tier armrest storage, you can quickly store personal belongings or other important articles within easy reach. Additionally, there are overhead LED map lamps and quick-reach controls for the sunroof, a universal garage door opener, and dome lamps. Cargo storage trays, cargo tie-down loops on the floor, and storage bins all help with keeping multiple items within easy reach.

For infotainment, there's a standard 10.1-inch central touchscreen with split-screen capability and an available 10.25-inch display on the passenger side, both powered by the Uconnect 5 system. These screens are part of a total of 50 inches of digital real estate spread across the Wagoneer dashboard, making it one of the most tech-rich full-size SUVs on the market. There is also a pair of available 10.1-inch screens for the second row, letting your passengers in on the fun.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration is standard across the lineup, along with Bluetooth wireless support for two simultaneously connected devices. Amazon Fire TV with Alexa support, along with trailer hitch technologies, multiple camera views from the available 360-degree Surround View, standard wireless charging, and McIntosh 950-watt premium 3D surround sound help round out the expansive infotainment features.

    Safety on the Road

The infotainment tech features are accompanied by more than 120 standard and available safety and security technologies, including advanced driver-assists. An Active Lane Management System, Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection, and Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking add a measure of relief when it comes to driving in the Wagoneer. You can travel more easily knowing you're in safe hands, especially with some of the most robust driver and passenger safety features, such as advanced cabin airbags in the front, side-curtain canopies, and inflatable knee airbags. With Rain Brake Support, a built-in security alert, and Intersection Collision Assist, the 2023 Wagoneer is designed to keep you as safe as possible no matter where you're traveling.
